PRESENTATION

The 28th Conference of Directors of EU Paying Agencies will take place from 27 to 29 October 2010 in Namur, Belgium. It is organized by the Paying Agency of Wallonia under the Belgian Presidency of the European Union.

During the Conference, issues are discussed regarding the implementation of the CAP payments. This is an opportunity for Member States to exchange experience and to propose potential future avenues of development for the CAP.

In particular, two workshops will be held in Namur. The first one, chaired by the Paying Agency of Wallonia (PAW), is focused on the financial systems used by the Paying Agencies. The second one, organized by the Belgian Intervention and Refund Board (BIRB), is dedicated to the control burden for the Agencies. The PAW already wishes you a pleasant stay in Namur.
